The Duo-Sharp is a two-sided sharpening stone. It is available in 4 grits: extra-coarse, coarse, fine and extra-fine.
There are 4 different combinations to choose from: Extra-Coarse/Coarse, Coarse/Fine, Coarse/Extra-Fine or Fine/Extra-Fine.
The Coarse/Extra-Fine is most popular and we recommend it for most applications.
The Extra Large size is ideal for kitchen knives, plane blades and larger tools.
You can easily take the stone out of the base to change sides or use the base with another stone.
